About Manga and Anime

Mangas are most case is for adult. It sometime there is a lot of violent in it and there would several version of it too. There is a clean one for kids and an adult version with some sex and nudity situation or bloody supernatural. My list had gotten very long so I don’t know how I should put it on this site. I will try to rate them for you and give you short summaries of it. I had added dramas because sometime those Asian TV series follow the Japanese manga format. Give me time, I will figure it out.

What is New.

I had just added Moribito, Guardian of the Spirit http://www.hulu.com/moribito-guardian-of-the-spirit, The artwork is well animated and story is like Novel. The characters are well developed. It's total of 26 Episodes.

I going add a top 5 list to this side. Right now Moribito is on top of the list.

Anime Club in Bay Area

Each one has a free showing once a month sometime from 11am to 6pm,, depends on group. The first is called Foothill Anime (http://foothill.anime.net/). Their showing is first Sunday of the month, it is located on Foothill College, Los Altos Hills, CA. The second one is Beef Bowl Anime, (http://www.beefbowl.org/) which is the 2nd Saturday of the month. Oops they had changed location. It is no longer in Silicon Valley, but east bay now. Albany to be exact. Albany Library. The third one I know of is No Name Anime, (http://www.nnanime.com/). It also show the 2nd Saturday of the month the Santa Clara Library. He is savior for the human race (Tribe of Iron), that is being hunted down by the Tribe of Silver (pure intellect) with the Tribe of Bronze (hordes of insects under the command of the Silver). The human had found him to full fill the prophesy, left by the Gold, to bring the tribes together. Rating 4.5 out 5

Kagome is a middle school girl that live at temple with her mom, little brother and grandfather priest. There she find that she is in Japan ancient past and meet Inuyasha, a half human dog demon. Their meeting ended up as a quest for the truth, the connection and the Shikon Jewel that was in her.

The Legend of the Legendary Heroes. (http://www.hulu.com/the-legend-of-the-legendary-heroes) Fantasy/Adventure/Magic/Humor. 24 Episodes, subbed. The magician on this world are ranked magic circle in their eyes. Alpha Stigma ranked is considered a monster that can destroy the world. Ryner Lute at first appearance seem to be lazy, inept, clumsy, but he manage to be accepted and save his friends. Rating 3.7 out of 5

Moribitom Guardian of the Spirit. http://www.hulu.com/moribito-guardian-of-the-spirit Adventure, Fantasy, Supernatural, Feudal time. 26, Episodes. English dubbed. The story is mostly on a wandering woman spear warrior, Balsa. She vowed to atone the death of her foster father's 8 friend by saving a life for each one. She was hired by the 2nd Queen to save the life of Prince Chagum, her son, who is target to be assasin by his father for being possessed by water demon. Rating 5 out of 5

Murder Princess (http://www.hulu.com/murder-princess) Fantasy/Adventure/Magic. 6 Episodes subbed and dubbed version. The scene set middle ages environment. Chaos had been broken in the castle of small kingdom. The king last stand was in the throne room and the princess was send to escape through the secret passageway. The monster had killed her 2 escort in the forest in back of the castle. Her encounter in the forest all her to come back to protect her father's kingdom. Rating 4.0 out 5

Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan (http://www.hulu.com/nura-rise-of-the-yokai-clan) Supernatural/Adventure/Magic/Young Teen) 26 Episodes, subbed. Rikuo Nura is young middle schooler and the 3rd heir to leader of all yokai (demons). He is trying to have a normal life at school and outside of home. Having a old traditional Japanese home full of yokai and keeping the yokai from disrupting the town, that is what he tried to hide from his friends. Rating 4 out 5

Tears of Tiara (http://www.hulu.com/tears-to-tiara) Fantasy/Adventure. 26 Episodes, subbed. The legendary myth of the Demon King was resurrected for the quest for power for the Devine Empire. He is not what they expect him to be.
It seem to be from a RPG game Playstation3. Story is slightly different. Great graphic. Rating 4.5 out 5 stars.
